Now soon to be one... But not gone...

Hello to all you happy blog followers. Is everyone sitting down??? Court, I said sit. Hey Greta, that means you too... That's OK, I'll wait....................
Today we had 245 people through Santa's Wonderland; and yes, Mary, that means we are over 10,000 photos taken. Libby, go wake your mother! Hey Vicki, that means I need some Bengay rubbed on my...OK wait, let's make that Cheryl...and I'll tell her myself! Tasha, stop talking about Santa that way...

Yes 10000 photos taken are a lot of photos, and a heck of a lot of people on my lap. That number does NOT include the people who just want to chat, talk, walk by, say a couple of things, or take their own pictures of Santa. (Heck, with the free one, there must be a catch. If all of those were added in, I would definitely need an appointment with Volker.) If the "Talent" had to guess, it would be 60-65% more. I think I just might go with Elf Cindi and go Postal! I don't mean "mail myself," I don't want to get lost ...................(See, I told you I would work it in.)

Today we had a record number of dogs - a Maltese, a Mexican Hairless (cute in a ugly sort of way), 3 Black Labs (at different times), 4 Yellow Labs (as said before), a Golden Retriever, a Pug, a Chocolate Lab, a Labradoodle (hey, I don't make this stuff up), a Poodle, and a Yorkie.
Santa had to be a hard guy again today. We had 3-4 dogs that just "loved each other" jumping, barking, yipping, snapping and playing at the entrance of Santa's Wonderland. I asked the owners to have them all leave the area by different routes. They asked why and I said I did not want a kid to get bit by accident. They stayed another 10 minutes or so. Pretty bad when some dogs are smarter than their owners.

OK, now to the picture. That is Bobby. He went with me to New York and brought me home on the way back. This guy is something else! He works at Bass Pro in Harrisburg, is a Volunteer Fireman in town, is a worldwide expert on Fly fishing, an expert at fishing, he and/or his dad have Fly fished in every country possible to do so in, has written or co-written with is dad 4 books, and has lectured all over the world (including Minnesota and Wisconsin) on fishing. Plus, the most impressive thing is that he puts on a Santa Suit and fills in for the "Talent" when Santa needs a break. Wild, to say the least!

Now to tie in the title. No, this is not going to be the end of my blog. I will keep everybody up to speed for a week or two.

Well, I'd better head off to bed. Christmas Eve is here!
