Hello all my Bloggies, I trust you're all doing well. I hear there is a lot of snow and cold up on the home front. Santa's home base was -36 degrees and had an ice storm which left 1/2 inch of ice on everything... Today in Harrisburg it is a cold 55 degrees. Now don't you feel bad for Santa?
Today was the start of the long days at BPS. So we had a count of 343 people through the "Dude in the Red Suit's" Wonderland. (You all thought I was going to say something else, didn't you.) Plus we had the following dog's: a HooPoo (an assistance certified dog), an Irish Setter, a Golden Lab, and a hairy thing I could not figure out. I will have long days 'til Christmas Eve (except this coming Sunday). I hope you all keep Santa, Mrs. Claus, and his Elves in your prayers.
Santa told you yesterday that two Elves were baking cookies. Well, I did not see any so the nice weather must have changed their minds (it's not nice to mess with Santa). I have been asked to describe some of my Elves to you, so I will pick one or two throughout the weeks ahead to tell you about. The first one I worked with tonight and she has...lets say...really big hair (what else would I say?) and she just had 12 or so inches chopped off for Locks of Love. Plus (and I have proof) I have had this Elf sold off three times now. That's correct, some child has asked for this particular Elf 3 times for Christmas (she thought Santa was full of something the last time it happened). As you all know Santa does not sell his Elves; rent maybe, but never sells....! She also handles all of my mail...
I had a rather disturbing kid in today. She was about 10-12 yrs old and after the picture I asked her what she wanted for Christmas. She told me that she did not believe in Christmas, and we are all nuts to believe in something sooo stupid. I asked her why she came today then? She said, "Hell! For the free picture." I told her how sorry I was that she could not believe in something so magical, and I wished her a "happy day." That is just very sad! I wish I could have talked with her to find out why, but it was not possible... Again it's so very SAD!
Happy dreams to you all,
Santa Joe
