Hey, Who let the kids in?

Well I have the pleasure to tell you that we had our second highest day at 512 people through Santa's wonderful Wonderland. I also believe that tomorrow will be almost as big due to the "Talent" being in the local Sunday paper. The article will also say that we are the only place offering free photo's.... I can almost hear a stampede.

Today we had a larger number of dogs...including 3 Beagle's (Snoopy dogs), 1 Black Lab, an Irish Wolf Hound, a Lab mixed breed, a British Bull dog, and a mutt. I held two of Beagle's at once, and they both turned on Santa at the same time. Yes, you guessed it. Santa got his face washed...If you can't out smart Santa, I guess you lick his face...at least it was not Prancer and Vixen!

Today in Harrisburg at about 3:30 we had snow falling sideways, not a lot by North Pole standards, but it's still snow. Well, people panicked and left work early, buying extra warm gear for the trip home. It is still snowing and we have about 1 inch on everything. I also learned that in PA they do not add sand to their salt for roadway work. I was taught that you need sand for grit and to hold the salt on the road (because wet salt is slippery and will slide off the road). Thank you, Don Hannah, who mixed salt, sand, and wood ashes to treat our roads.

Well the dude in the red suit needs his rest for his adoring public.

Happy trails,

Santa Joe
