Extra Special Guest Arrives.

Hello to you all, and even my Elves. OK let's get one thing straight from the start. I never said I hated my Elves' cookies... I said they were a little flour-y (too much flour), but Santa liked them and ate them in front of one of them. I even told her I liked them, which I did. Trust me, I know my cookies. I hope this ends the debate; I would hate to be involved in the next "Cookie-gate" investigation (I don't have time for all the hearings). Amen!

Now on to the important stuff. We had 266 people through Santa's place. I was asked if we would get to 10,000 photos. I don't think it is possible, but 9000 is. (I really hope 10 grand is not possible!) But I have been wrong before. Today was a good day from the start with 2 dogs waiting for Santa right off the bat. We had the following Pooch's: a Black Lab, Golden Retriever, Yellow Lab pup, an older Cocker Spaniel, an Australian Blue Horse Herder (yes it herds horses), and a Border Collie pup. I wonder just how many dogs we've seen?

Today we all had a great and privileged surprise - a visit from Grandma Claus! This wonderful elderly lady came to see Santa and the Elves in full costume. It was beautiful - her shoes were from 1927, and her cap, dress and cape were all hand made. She told me she was Mrs. Claus for many years, but gave it up due to all it entails. She put her outfit on today because she saw me in the Mall each day and said she liked how I carried myself, and how I looked. (I am NOT allowed to wear my Suit in the mall at all.) I go to the mall daily for something to eat before I start seeing kids at BPS. She even gave me a candy bar to start my day.

Between Grandma Claus, and the 2 dogs, how can you have a bad start to your day?! Bless her heart.

See kids, you NEVER know who will report in to Santa on how things are going out there.

Night,

Santa Joe
